Roaming in Rochester

Today Ian and I visited Rochester it's only 20 minutes from where we live, but we don't go their very often. We thought as the sun was shining we take a trip and have a look around doing touristy things.
On the walk to Rochester Cathedral were these beautiful blossom tree's. They had lined the paths with the delicate pink petals. It was so picturesque and romantic.

We then went into the Cathedral, which neither of us have ever been in before. There''s something so beautiful and interesting about old buildings. I don't know what it is about them, but I find them mysterious and intriguing. Rochester Cathedral is so grand and has really exquisite features.

Making our way over to Rochester Castle to take pictures of the grounds it was filled with people enjoying the sun. It such a great place to have a picnic in the summer.

We then took the opportunity to look in some shops. I really liked Pink Flamingo  it was filled with summer cute dresses and accessories definitely check it out if you're ever in Rochester.

We ended our visit to Rochester by picking up some cakes from this Bakery. It's really nice and even has a bit for you to eat in. We took ours to go so we could enjoy them at home in the sun. It was a lovely day and it's lovely to enjoy the area we live in. Sometimes I think people forget whats around them because I know we do.
