Wish List Wednesday

My style is starting to change a little and I find myself picking things I'd never thought I would. I'm also starting to try new shops. These are some of the pieces I've found over the last week, which have freaky caught my eye.
These two tops are very me, but the skirts aren't something I'd usually pick. Both the skirts and jumper are from Zara I don't usually shop there, but I've been finding lots of great pieces. These shoes are great and are from Aldo they have a summer feel to them, which is a bonus. I feel these pieces still reflect the easiness that I want my outfits to have, whilst giving a more polished and grown up look.

Now for me blogging is something that I started as a creative outlet for myself so I could share things I like and do. It has acted as a great inspiration for me and has helped me gain more confidence.
This is so amazing and my blog has become more than I could ever have imagined.
I never set out for it to be all about how many followers I could get and, although it's not all about that I feel so grateful for the followers I do have.
I have gained so many followers since the beginning of 2014 and I am so grateful and I want to say thank you to all of you that follow my blog. I never thought my blog would interest so many and, although it may not seem like many to others to me reaching 100 followers is a big achievement. As I never thought that many people would read my blog.

I started my blog in June 2012, but I didn't really keep to it. So even though I started then I see it as properly having started it last April. So to me it's a my blogs first birthday.

I wanted to do a giveaway to celebrate my blogs first proper year and to thank all of you who follow my blog.

The Giveaway includes, a 7 x 5 white picture frame, two foam bath with added moisturiser, a Semi-Precious Stone ring I made and some bracelets.

You can enter the competition my commenting below on why you like my blog or what your favourite part is.

The Competition will run until Wednesday 7th May at Midnight. I will announce the Winner Sunday.
Good Luck and Get Commenting. You can also tweet me with a comment.

And Again Thank You

Beauty Haul

This is my first Beauty Haul post so this is all a bit new to me. I never thought I'd do a Beauty Haul. I'm not one to buy lots of make-up and beauty products, as I have such sensitive skin. So I have to be weary of what I use, which is usually a case of testing out a product and seeing what happens.

2 tsp Vanilla
1 tsp Baking Powder

Start by combing the sugar and butter. Then combine the flour and baking powder.

Add the eggs one at a time to the butter and sugar. Then add the vanilla and then fold in the flour mix. Do this with a metal spoon.
Now add the milk and you can put the mix in the cake cases.

Now make the Buttercream by mixing together the buyer and sugar. Then add the vanilla and milk. Now you can decorate your cakes.

I've choosen to decorate them with hundreds and thousands, but you can use whatever you like.
You can now sit back and enjoy them.

7 Day Hair Dare

Last week I saw a blogpost on Fox in Flats entitled "The 7 Day Hair Dare" I found it really interesting as it made me starting thinking about how do my hair.
It says that out of 150 women surveyed, 77% said they had regularly styles that they went for.

The idea is that you style your hair in a different way each day for 7 days. Also each hairstyle must be distinctively different.
I thought this would be really great as I tend to stick to your standard bun, ponytail or I mostly just keep it down and as it comes. So I thought it would get me to try some different looks. I've been collecting hairstyles of Pinterest for a little while now and now it can be my inspiration for the week. You can see my hairstyle inspiration here.

If you want to join in to you can just take a look a Fox In Flats post and you can put pictures on twitter and Instagram with the has tag FoxInFlatsHairDare

So I started the 7 Day Hair Dare  on Friday 18th April and here are my hairstyles.

Day 1

For this I did two plaits and then put my hair in plait bunches.

Day 2

For my second day I curled some bits of hair and then blowed dried it out.

Day 3

For this day I plaited it on either side and pulled it round so I had a bit back, but most of my hair down. With a slight wave to my hair.

Day 4

I've not straightened my hair in ages so thought I'd do it for a change.

Day 5

I kept it simple with a ponytail. As I was going to Chessington on a school trip with the class I help I wanted something easy.

Day 6

I've never put my hair like this before, but I thought I'd try the milkmaid look

Day 7

I decided to plait the underneath of my hair and then put it in a bun. It isn't fantastic, but as my first go I think its okay.

So there it is my 7 days of having different hair. It has been really fun to think of a different hairstyle every day. I would recommend if you are in a hairstyle rut then do this. It'll get your creativity flowing.

Happy Easter!

So we are well into the Easter Bank Holiday now and I've been quite busy over the last few days.
Spending time with Ian and his Family. It's been lovely to have some a relaxing Bank Holiday with a mix of Baking shopping and indulgence.

Yesterday I went with Ian and his mum to Canterbury. We had a little wander round the shops. It was so busy I didn't really take to many photo's. This is only a half hour away from where I live and I always forget how lovely it is. I really should make time to go to Canterbury more. I love the shops and whats even better is Primark is going to be opening there soon.

Today is spent being a bit lazy and indulging, with cake and chocolate and later a roast.

The recipe for my Carrot Cake Cupcakes is already up on my blog and next week I'll be putting up the Vanilla Cupcake recipe. So keep an eye out.

I hope you are all having a great Easter and Chilling out.

Whatever the weather We gon' be better together

Denim Jacket - Topshop/ Vest - Topshop/ Swan Trousers - eBay(Topshop)/ Shoes - Vans

I wanted to wear something vibrant as it is Easter and I think of all the beautiful colours I associate with this Bank Holiday.
I was so proud putting on these trousers today, which may seem silly. It's just I bought these back in August from eBay and they were so tight I couldn't quite do them up. So now I can and it makes me feel so good. I thought the print was perfect and teamed it with this purple vest as I thought it made it pop. As it's not warm how I'd like it I've put my denim Jacket with it and my pastel pink Vans.
