Jacket - Topshop/ T-Shirt - Kooks Gig/ Skirt - Asos/ Shoes - Topshop

I got this skirt a little while back and thought I finally wear it. I got a few dirty looks for having bare legs, but I don't care. I teamed it with my kooks tee to give it a gig type feel and my denim jacket. I love this jacket it's my go to.

What I've Been Up To

Recently I've just felt so exhausted and have been taking the time to relax and do things I enjoy.

I find it really hard to find books that I will actually read. By this I mean i find it hard to get into a
book. It's very rare that I will find a book I love. These are some books I got recently to read this month. The top one was a present from Ian and the others I got from my local Library.

Yesterday I went for a girly family trip to Where Memories Meet. We had Afternoon tea my family were so quick at grabbing things that I didn't really have a chance to take photo's.
It's the first Afternoon Tea I've ever been to and I have to say I was a little disappointed. As it wasn't much for the price and I felt like cakes I've made taste better. Apart from that I had a really nice time drinking tea and have a girly chat.

As I said in my OOTD post yesterday I spent the day indoors relaxing and painting. I recently got back into drawing and painting. I forgot how relaxing it is. I also had a little revelation, which i will be writing a post about soon.

I also sat back enjoyed some films and a face mask. This one from lush is so amazing it smells like cookies and its so moisturising. Definitely worth trying.

ou've got to be the best You've got to change the world And use this chance to be heard Your time is now

Wish List Wednesday

This week I've been eyeing up a few things. These two shirts from Zara are easy and smart, which is something I need. When I saw this bag I loved is quirky, fun and summery look.
I need a great pair of black jeans and these Oasis ones seem like they'd be fantastic. I be been looking at shirt dresses and this White Pepper one is a great length and in this classic colour I can bring in colourful accessories. Finally I'd love a great pair of Loafers I've noticed that I have a lot of casual shoes and I'm in great need of some smart ones.

Admiring Style - Fearne Cotton

I thought it would be great to share some people who's style I admire. I thought it could be a monthly post on my blog, sharing where I get some of my inspiration from.
The first post is Fearne Cotton.

Fearne Cotton is someone who's style I really admire. There is an effortless and easy feel to her looks yet she still keeps it quirky and stylish. Which is what draws me to her style.
Although I'm not someone to steal a person's style or imitate them I am inspired by Fearne Cotton as her easy, effortless and quirky style is something that I incorporate with me style. So it's nice to see someone else's take on it.

These outfits are all things I could see myself wearing or that I have similar already. Although I don't have Fearne's great body I mix it up to suit me and shape.

She has some great coat's and jacket's which I still have yet find a great coat.

Some of her looks are quite simple and dark, but she has picked out parts and gone for a great colour, which adds interest to an outfit. I also like how she incorporates print as we all know I love a print.
It's great to find inspiration I get mine from all over from different era's, magazines, bloggers and the Internet. I'm always looking to see what things I could try.

What's your favourite sorry if style? Who's style do you admire? Or who inspires you?

Little Update

Now I've not blogged in a little while. I'm not going to go into details or apologise for my absence as sometimes life happens and that's what's happened. I know it has been a while since my birthday, but I've not yet put up part two of my birthday vlog which will be up this week.

Away from all that I've been doing a lot of thinking about what I want to be doing for a career. Yes I still want to work with children and working as a teaching assistant is great I just feel like I want to be more involved. Which has lead me to look at my options a lot more. It has lead me to teaching. The big thing I've had to think about is age as in the age of the children I want to be teaching. Although I'd love to teach primary school my heart lies in teaching art. I've always been interested and involved with creative activities and subjects and it would be great to pass on my passion and knowledge. This is why I've chosen to go into secondary school teaching.
Now I've made these decisions I can get on with putting them in place. I've nearly finished my application on UCAS but I'm just waiting on my references to come through so I can submit it. Then it will become a bit of a waiting game.
The more I think about the more excited I feel, but I don't want to get my hopes up. Fingers crossed I will get in and I'll then be on the way to becoming a teacher.
All this has got me thinking a lot recently about the choices we make. I mean if you'd asked me when I was younger what I wanted to be I can assure you teacher wasn't on the list. When you're younger you just hook onto whatever you love at that age. I have always been an animal lover and when I was younger I used to say I wanted to be a vet to me that meant I got to be with pets all day petting them. This is off course is not want a vet does, which I soon realise and changed my mind.
I guess I always knew I'd do some creative, but I was never sure what as I love lots of different things. I really enjoyed taking photographs and this lead me to my degree. The degree sort of made me fall out of love with it all. However in saying that it's made me find my love of all things creative. I am a firm believer that things happen for a reason and although it may seem I've detoured I believe I'm on the path I'm supposed to be on. Which makes it all with while.

he clock is ticking, running out of time So we should party all night

Wish List Wednesday

I've noticed that I have a thing for patterns and the colour blue at the moment, which you can see here.
I've had a bit of trouble with skincare at the moment and I've heard really good things about Ren and I'd love to try this set. These trousers from Zara are smart yet have a comfy relaxed feel to them. I've been eyeing up bags like this for a while and this one is a great size. The two tops from Zara caught my eye and they'd be a great addition to my wardrobe. This dress is a great day piece for any wardrobe. I've wanted to get a pair of desert Boots for a while and these would be great. I like the sporty waistband on this skirt from Topshop and because of the style I could dress it up or down.

Vintage Fair at Mount Ephariam

Yesterday Ian, Chris (Ian's mum) and I went to a Vintage Fair that was at Mount Ephariam in Faversham. We paid £6 each, which got us into the fair and the gardens. The weather wasn't great, but that didn't ruin it.

There were stalls outside and then you went into the house where there were more stalls.

Amongst all the stalls were some wedding themed ones, like this one  Rings Rock  a company who make bespoke rings. It's definitely given Ian and I something to think about as the rings are so beautiful and would then be more personal to us.

Another stall that caught my eye was this stall which had hand printed bags. They really caught my eye I thought they'd be great gifts.

This vintage inspired shop was great I even got this dress (below) as I couldn't resist the colours and print.

This wedding boutique called Helena Fortley had a stall there and the dresses are so exquisite and the style I'd like. I think I will definitely have to pay a visit and try some of the dresses on.

They even had a little dance show, which was fun to watch.

Afterwards we had a look around the gardens.

These are some of the cards I picked up at the event.
