We're in the last hour of 2015 and what a year it's been.

I've been through different jobs, which is part of what comes from temping. I've ended the year in a job I love,  and one I hope could become permanent. It's great to not only enjoy my job and look forward to going but to also work with a great bunch of people.

2015 also saw me marry the love of my life, my soul mate, Ian. We've made so many memories in these years we've been together and it's amazing to create the rest as husband and wife. It's both given us a new confidence and excitement for life.

We visited Morocco and Cyprus,  two different places but both equally as beautiful.

We've celebrated birthdays, saw my parent's move house and get a dog and made lots of family memories.

This year has had a few downs but the good ones by far outweigh them. I'm so thankful for 2015 and all that it's brought. Whether it's the big or small moments it's all been fun and an adventure. This year I've felt myself grow as a person and gain more confidence, after all it does come with age.

So thank you 2015 for being amazing and bring on 2016.

Boohoo - #WeAreFamily

Boohoo got in contact with me a few weeks ago asking me to be a part of their #WeAreFamily campaign. They gave me a budget to pick some great party dresses. Boohoo has a great range for every occasion and there is something for everyone.
For me this season is a mix of parties and seasonal work do's.

The first dress I picked was this Allie Pocket Front Shirt Dress as I wanted a dress that could take me from work to party. Where I work you have to dress smart so this black shirt dress is perfect. I pair it with tights and boots and it gives me a simply every day work look.

To take me to party perfect for my work meal and drinks I added this chain necklace and sparkly socks. Statement necklaces are a great way to add extra interest to an outfit and to add some sparkle. These socks also add that extra bit of sparkle and colour which is gives the outfit a pop.

To finish off the look I wore this leopard coat which gives the look a bit of a rock and roll edge. This dress is a great day to night piece and what girl doesn't need a LBD.

The second dress I picked was this Boutique Kate Sequin Printed Swing Dress. I have a few parties to go to this season and this dress is to indulge the magpie in me. I'm not usually one to go all out but I wanted a showstopper.

This dress is stunning and I knew I had to have it. It's a stand out dress and it make's me feel incredible. I loved the 60's swing feel that gives me that sexy 60's vibe.

I wanted to keep it simple with accessories as it is all about the dress. I paired it with a faux fur bag and some lace up heels. It is by far my favourite dress I own other than my wedding dress. If you're looking for the ultimate sparkly party dress then this is the dress for you. As it'll take you through the season and it's a excellent New Year's outfit.

For me feeling sparkly comes from dressing up and putting on a great party piece. Even better if it's a sparkly dress too. Dresses always make me feel amazing and super confident, which is all part of what makes me feel like a can handle anything.

Boohoo has a great range of party pieces, so check them out as you're sure to find the perfect look.

Royal Oak Beefeater - Wrotham Heath

A few weeks ago I was given a £50 voucher to go and enjoy and review a lovely meal at a newly refurbished Beefeater.
So Ian and I went down to see the Royal Oak Beefeater in Wrotham to check out the refurbishment and the new menu.

We where greeted by an excellent and friendly member of staff who showed us to our table start away.

The refurbishment looked great and a luxury finish to its fixtures and finishes. Beefeater is known for its family friendly atmosphere and menu which you can tell is still very much the essence of this restaurant. Offering great grilled options.

The menu had some great pieces and there's something for everyone. We started with baked camembert and chicken wings. They were perfect and flavourful a great way to start the meal.

For mains I got a burger which was delicious and Ian got steak which he said was amazing.

Looking around Beefeater you can tell a lot of detail has gone into the look. The colours are orange and grey which is a a gorgeous colour combination. There are a few hints of other colours throughout too which bring an added pop of colour.

The artwork adds a great finishes and completes the look.

For dessert I had ice cream with a rum syrup sauce. Ian had a cookie dough sundae both were so yummy and coming from dessert people you know it's good.

Royal Oak Beefeater is a great restaurant and with the new refurbishment it's even better.  The staff and great as is the food I'd definitely recommend you to try it if you're near by.
