Wish List Wednesday

I love shopping for bits for the home. One room I often neglect is the bathroom. My bathroom is black, white and grey. So it's makes it super easy to get things for it. I like to keep the bathroom to those colours but incorporate a colour with a few key pieces.  For me I add colour through towels and the shower curtain.
This shower curtain is lovely and vibrant which would look great and with these towels to match it would be the nice pop of colour the bathroom is needing.

Cath Kidston Picks

Cath Kidston always has fun and colourful pieces.  I always get excited to see what they've got. Browsing their website I found my favourite pieces.  This red top is so autumnal and would be great for adding some colour to my outfits. As for the skirt who doesn't love or need and denim skirt in there wardrobe it would be great teamed with the top and some coloured tights.
Now I don't know about you guys but I love a cozy stylish Jumper that I can wear to keep me warm indoors and this is definitely that. What's even better is it's got penguins on.
This backpack is super cute and would be a great addition to any outfit. I'm a lover of dresses and this one with its contrasting colours to die for its girly and fun and would be a great stand out piece.
These last two items I more for my parents new dog you may have seen him on my instagram. He's only small still but this collar and lead would make him look even more handsome.

Lazy Girls Guide To Exercise

I have never enjoyed exercise and it's never been something that I'd choose to do. However, as I have gotten older I have realised that it is important to be fit and healthy. When you're younger it is easier. Whilst at school you get your exercise from PE, Sports or whatever they call it nowadays and let's be honest as a kid I seemed to walk a hell of a lot more than I do now. I also used to go to the gym once a week as it was right next to my school and just made sense.

As I got older I always said to myself I need to get fit and healthy. Yes I'd like to lose a little weight but the main reason was always because I wanted to be fit and healthy. However, I have always prioritised everything else above this and thought well I need that extra bit of sleep or I've just got home and I need time to relax. When really it's just because I want to be lazy and get home and do absolutely nothing. That's not to say that it's a bad thing, but sitting at a desk for the majority of the day isn't exactly healthy when you're not doing any exercise.

That's why I realised I need to incorporate some exercise into my daily routine. I decided to start small by trying to do 10,000 or more steps a day. I know on average you're meant to do 10,000 steps a day so I figure if I have that as my starting point and then get incorporate more exercise then it'll make it that bit easier.
There are simple ways of increasing your steps throughout the day like, getting off the bus a stop or two earlier and by doing some walking on your lunch. I am always one to try and get out the building at work as I think you should get some fresh air so why not do a bit of walking too. Then when I get home I look to see how many steps I've got left and then I cater my walk to get me the steps I need. Some days I feel exhausted and try not to do but that is purely for easiness and laziness.

Now that I'm starting to get used to this I am going to start increasing my steps over a period of time along with introducing some other form of exercise. The best way to do this is to choose a form of exercise that you dislike the least. Which for me would be yoga that way it also includes some relaxation time as I could also use some time for that too.

I'd love to know what you guys do for exercise and how you feel about it. You never know we might be able to help each other.

A/W 15 Favourite Shops

I'm loving that it's a/w I find layering so much fun.  I have picked two of my favourite shops at the moment and then I have picked my favourite pieces. First up is New Look.  They've got some great pieces and they've really stepped up this season.

New Look

These pieces are great and would give me that rock n roll feel with a hint of the 70's. I find that New Look have a great mix of pieces and styles. However for me I tend to steer more towards the edgy more rock n roll look which is definitely reflected in the pieces I've picked.

Ribbed Cropped Cami
Floral Stripe Print Midi Skirt
Find Suede Lace Up Shoes
Faux Snake Box Bag
Moto Vintage Mom Jeans
Lady Garden Sweatshirt
Moto Zip Front A-line Mini Skirt
Felt Cat Crossbody Bag
Lace High Neck Top
Straight Slouch Leg Trousers

With Topshop I seem to have gone with more of a girly feel. With these pieces they a have a hint of sexiness about them, that would definitely show off my curves. I'm not always one to fault my curves or body but I feel like it's about time I started.

I think it's a really inspiring season for fashion this year. Even though there is the current trends the shops have really created collections to fit those trends that look different.  Yes there's some similar key pieces that they've all got, but the rest of their pieces take on their own style.
It's really nice to see as it makes shopping lots more fun.

Wish List Wednesday

I love when the seasons change and all the new piece's come into the shops. It gets me excited and wanting to buy some new piece's to add to my wardrobe.
I feel like my style has grown in the last year and I'm more open to trying new looks.
These are some of the item's I'm lusting after at the moment. I love a pattern as I've said many times before.  These two shirts are fab along with this striped top. I recently bought a fedora and now I'd love one in another colour. The off the shoulder look is one that's really caught my eye and something I'd love to try. As for the dungarees I've wanted a pair like these for ages, but I've never been brave enough to try them.
I love a backpack and I like this one as it had a smarter look to it. Who doesn't love pandora and with my husband buying me and bracelet. I have my eye on these two charms. I've wanted a gilet for sometime and this one would be perfect. Lastly I'm loving the 70's trend and this skirt would be great to add some 70's style to my wardrobe.

I’m always honest to you And I’m always coming for you
