MEXico Restaurant Opening

Last week I was invited to the opening event for MEXico in Maidstone. It's about time Maidstone had some spicing up. Often enough I go to Maidstone and the restaurants are all the same. This is a great new addition with its vibrant look and delicious food.

Evolution of McDonald's *Sponsored Post*

McDonald's is a brand we all know and love. If you don't love it I recommend you retry it, as they've made a few changes.

Blog Ashford

Blog Ashford was a great all day event. It was to celebrate the fabulous  independent shops in Ashford. It was a chance to see the shops and meet the people behind them.

Rye and Camber

This post is a little overdue but better late than never. A while ago Ian and I went to stay near rye. It was nice getting away to the coast. We needed some time to just relax and think about nothing. To just live in the moment with no worries.

Autumn has to be one of, if not my favourite season.

The crisp air with the warmth of the day. The sound of leaves crunching beneath my feet.
Oh, Autumn... how I love you.

Quay Australia

Never really having put much thought into buying sunglasses meant spending very little. It meant I didn't need to take care of them as they could be replaced. I've always been one to take care of my things and why should it be different with my sunglasses?

Adult Defining

At what moment did you feel like you'd truly become a grown up?

Job Interviews

Job interviews are a topic I've always wanted to cover, but for one reason or another i've stopped myself. I guess part of it is fear that a future employer might not like it. You know what though its my space to write about what I want.

Bella Italia

I've eaten Italian before and visited some of the other Italian chains, but never Bella Italia.
I love the decor. It has a retro and fun feel to it and it's one of the best in terms of decor.
I love the gelato counter it stood out for me.

I live my day as if it was the last Live my day as if there was no past

Bateman's House

One lazy Sunday, Ian and I took our National Trust Membership cards and set out to explore.
We found ourselves on the way to Bateman's House.

Cuffleberry & Co

Earlier in the year I was contacted about Cuffleberry & Co Gourmet Dog Food and asked when Rufus's birthday is. Whilst Rufus isn't my dog he is my family dog and I see him lots. Last month was Rufus's birthday and they kindly sent me a birthday hamper for him.

Hotter Shoes - Blogger Event

Last month I was invited to a blogger event at Hotter Shoes in Maidstone. Being my first blogger event I was both super excited and nervous. It was a really great evening learning about the shoes, having nibbles, chatting with bloggers and of course trying on shoes.

Letter to my younger self....

Life isn't easy, that's just a given. Stop chasing after being an adult, it'll come and when it does there's kind of no going back. Enjoy you young and carefree days because that won't last forever.
I know at times growing up seems like the answer to everything, but it's not. Yes, you're going to have people disappoint you and let you down but that won't change when you're older.

Is the 'Dream' job possible?

Is it really that easy to get a dream job straight out of uni? I say although it's not impossible, it's fairly unlikely you will. If it isn't hard enough, the judgement from others (parents included) makes you feel somewhat of a failure. It's not as easy as some might think. Talking from my own experiences I left uni with a sour taste in my mouth and wasn't sure on which direction I'd take.

At Christmas Ian and I got a National Trust membership. We love visiting new places and learning new things, so the National Trust membership was a perfect gift. As a way to document our visits I've decided to start a small section based on these trips.

The Big Easy Covent Garden

The Big Easy is a great place to, whether it's on a date or meeting up with friends. It has a great laid back vibe and the atmosphere was electric. There was long waiting list so I'd recommend booking ahead.

First Tattoo

I have thought about getting a tattoo for many years and I've always kind of known what I wanted to get. My family had always said not to get one and that if I did I should be sure that it is something I really wanted. I guess that is why I have waited so long, well that and being really scared of needles I didn't know what to expect.

The Grange Hotel Tower Bridge London

Back in January Ian and I decided to go away to London for a couple of days. After looking at hotels online we decided to go with one of the secret hotels on and yes it's a gamble but we thought why not. The gamble paid off as we stayed in this incredible hotel which is a part of The Grange Hotels. We were in the Tower Bridge one and it was so luxurious. We got it for a great deal cheaper than it should have been which we wouldn't have if we hadn't gone with the secret option.

What is Happiness?

Happiness comes in many forms and is different for everyone. I bet if you asked 10 people what makes them happy they'd all say something different. That's the beauty of life, everyone is unique and their own individual person.

Seaside Strolls

A while ago Ian and I decided to go to Broadstairs for the day. It's one of our favourite places to go and I mean who doesn't love the seaside. There is something so relaxing and calming about the seaside and it always make me feel so calm and at peace.

Häagen-Dazs at Valentines

It's that time of year where you celebrate with the one you love. Valentines too me is all about a night in with my husband Ian. For us nothing's better then our favourite treats and a film.

I recently received this c/o Pranamat. I was so excited to get my hands on this mat. It's a therapeutic massage mat which aims to help you feel good.
